Alex Leshansky / Associate professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering at Technion

Alex Leshansky completed his PhD thesis in Applied Mathematics at Technion in 2002 and spent two years as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Caltech, where he investigated hydrodynamics of particulate suspensions under shear. He joined the Department of Chemical Engineering at Technion in 2005, where he currently holds a position of Associate Professor. His current research activities focus on various aspects of low-Reynold-number hydrodynamics and small-scale transport phenomena, including interfacial and particulate flows, droplet-based microfluidics and biological and artificial micro-/nanopropellers.
