Micro- and nanofluidics has considerably matured over the last 2 decades. This holds both for the fundamental understanding of the flow on a micro- and nanoscale and for the applications in industry. Various start-up companies have been founded and global players have realized the importance of the field. Applications can be found in the chip-industry, medical diagnostics, drug development and delivery, ink-jet printing, … Interestingly enough, more fundamentally oriented and more application oriented scientist in this field have stayed rather separate, generally visiting different conferences.
Flow 17 is the second edition of Fundamentals and Applications of micro- and nanofluidics conference.
The overwhelming response regarding Flow17 confirms the demand for such a conference. We put together an excellent scientific program with three parallel sessions, plenary talks, pitches and a very strong poster exhibition. Additionally, the social program surrounding the sessions should allow for stimulating scientific exchange with your colleagues.
The aim of the present 3 day international Flow17 conference is to develop the fundamentals of micro- and nanofluidics by stimulating exchanges within the community, providing them a unique opportunity to meet, along with stimulating the exciting applications that are currently driving, in a very inspiring manner, the field.
